Global Instrumentation develops and markets the highest performance and most cost effective state-of-the-art cardiac monitoring systems.

The principals of Global Instrumentation have been responsible for all of the significant innovations in the Holter industry, including the following:
  • Development of the first personal computer based Holter systems.
  • Development of patented recording technology which records the data onto a small magnetic disk or onto flash memory instead of the conventional magnetic tape used by the industry. The data is processed digitally which eliminates the signal distortion problems associated with analog recording systems. The advantages of this recording technology are the same as the advantages music CD’s have over music cassette tapes.
  • Development of Internet Web based medical monitoring software and systems.
  • Development of the first digital high-resolution ECG ambulatory Holter recorder.
  • Development of patented technology which enables wireless access to ambulatory monitoring devices. This technology enables physicians to access ambulatory physiological monitors/recorders via the Internet, while the patient is wearing the recorder.
  • Development of modular ECG analysis algorithms which are faster and more accurate than any others in the industry.
